Evelyn Mishra

I am Evelyn Mishra, a God-gifted and passionate visual artist with over 20+ years of experience in the field of fine art. I love to experiment with different textures and styles, blending traditional subjects with a modern approach. My artistic expression is not confined to a single medium—I work with oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, and pencil shading, each allowing me to explore and express different facets of creativity.
My work is deeply inspired by the natural world, endangered species, and human emotions. Through my art, I aim to spread messages of love, peace, and environmental awareness. I strongly believe in respecting and protecting what has been given to us by nature and by God, and I hope my art inspires others to do the same. I draw my inspiration from my elder brother, Sanjeev Kumar, who was a gifted fine artist. Alongside my formal education, I continued to learn and grow as an artist through consistent self-practice and exploration.
As a commercial artist, I’ve created numerous works and have held multiple solo exhibitions. My first solo exhibition was held in my hometown and was inaugurated by the local MP and Development Minister—an unforgettable milestone in my journey.
In 2015, I traveled to the United Kingdom with my family, where I spent three years exploring the art and culture of countries like France and Italy. During this time, I had the opportunity to admire masterpieces by great European artists, including a memorable visit to the Buckingham Palace in London. In 2018, I returned to India and settled in Delhi, where I continue to pursue my passion along with my full time job as a Teacher. Art is not just a profession for me—it’s a calling. I will keep creating, growing, and sharing my vision with the world.
